eCheck.io is a bank account verification platform that lets businesses instantly check the status of any U.S. bank account — whether it's active, inactive, dormant, has NSF history, or is closed. We connect to the LyonsReg AOA database to deliver real-time results.

Most customers are live within a few hours. Our onboarding process is straightforward — submit your application, complete verification, and once approved you'll have access to the virtual terminal and API right away.

Technical details about account verification
You need the bank's ABA routing number and the account number. Our system will look up the bank name automatically from the routing number and return the account's current status.
We return a tri-color status system: Green means the account is active and in good standing. Red indicates negative history such as NSF (non-sufficient funds). Black means no data available or the account is closed.
Yes. Every account includes access to a sandbox environment with mock data for all account statuses, so you can test your integration before going live.
Absolutely. Our virtual terminal provides a web-based interface where you can manually enter routing and account numbers to run verifications — no coding required.
