Terms of Service

By accessing or using the eCheck.io platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our services.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including merchants, administrators, and any other visitors.

eCheck.io provides bank account verification and fraud detection services through its platform. Our services include:

• Real-time bank account verification via the Account On-file (AOA) API
• Routing number validation and bank identification
• Fraud risk scoring and anomaly detection
• Verification history and reporting
• Virtual terminal for manual verification requests

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.

To access our services, you must complete our onboarding process and maintain an active account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

eCheck.io reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You shall not:

• Use the services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent verification requests
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our platform

Fees for our services are set forth in your service agreement. Unless otherwise specified:

• Fees are billed monthly in arrears based on usage
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• We may update pricing with 30 days written notice
• Late payments may incur additional charges
• We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment

To the maximum extent permitted by law, eCheck.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or use of our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Verification results are provided on an "as-is" basis and should not be the sole basis for financial decisions.

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

• You violate any provision of these terms
• We are required to do so by law
• We determine that your use poses a security risk

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
